Hi! I’m so happy you’re here. My name is Elle.
So, what’s this blog all about? First, I think it’s important to tell you that my writing and these words that I share are not just my own. Always, Elle was the result of a calling I knew God put on my heart to encourage people through my writing. There’s something about words that’s so dang special to me… and ever since I can remember I have been fascinated with the impact words can have on someone’s life. Most of my writing is about things that I’m learning or have learned, and my hope is the people who read my words feel loved & known & encouraged. I get real, raw, and vulnerable, and I hope that by me sharing parts of my story, you feel comfortable doing the same. Your story is worth sharing.
Okay, so, a lil’ more about me…
I’m a just-outside-of-Chicago native, but I always tell people I have a worldwide heart. I love to explore, to see the tiniest little towns in some of the most remote and beautiful places on this earth and I’m always down for the next adventure. For real though, I’ve had some pretty crazy travels. Just ask me about the time I crossed the Nicaragua/Costa Rica border by land.
I have two beautiful baby sisters who are my built-in best friends and an amazing mom who inspires me everyday to love God and change the world with kindness, compassion, and a lil’ bit of sass.
I am currently a junior Business Information Systems & Psychology Dual-Degree student at TCU. GO FROGS BABY!
I love all things light pink, and I have not one bit of shame about it. Forever and always a pink girl. Hence the color scheme of this blog. 😉
I’m passionate about educating girls & women globally and empowering women to know their worth.
I’m a very social introvert. I LOVE to talk & to go out & dance till my feet hurt, but I also need my quiet time to recenter. That’s something a lot of people are surprised to know about me. I think that’s part of the reason I’m so in love with sharing words & thoughts through writing.
