Hi guys! I hope you all are staying safe + healthy… both physically & emotionally <3 This season is definitely crazy but I’m reminding myself that I can choose to make the most it. This period of slowness has given us what I believe to be one of the biggest blessings: time. Time to think; time to laugh. Time to create; time to ponder. Time to just be. Time to try new things & read & slow down. So today, I wanted to share a list I made on my notes app of things to do in this time at home!
THINGS TO DO AT HOME:
⁃ Make gratitude lists every day (try to find little things you don’t normally notice that you’re grateful for)
⁃ Go for long walks & try to be fully present with where you are
⁃ Write love letters to your future husband/wife
⁃ Cook some new recipes
⁃ Write stories about your experience for your future kids & grandkids
⁃ Make new playlists and theme them for different emotions/seasons/feels
⁃ Read new books
⁃ Start a new series on Netflix
⁃ Ride your bike
⁃ Create a “schedule” for your days
⁃ Listen to podcasts
⁃ Download DuoLingo & learn a new language
⁃ Call/FaceTime your friends
⁃ Take naps
⁃ Draw/paint/do coloring books (my fave)
⁃ Take a longgg time on your skincare (y’all know I love me some skincare)
⁃ Get dressed up just for fun
⁃ Go through and organize your photos (I need to do this!!!)
⁃ Create new Instagram story highlights & color code them all cute hehe
⁃ Pick a random subject & spend time researching it
⁃ Make a list of movies you’ve been wanting to watch for forever & watch them
⁃ Make a dream board
